Journal of Psychiatry and Neuroscience joins Canadian Science Publishing portfolio -

Canadian Science Publishing (CSP) has completed the acquisition of the Journal of Psychiatry and Neuroscience (JPN) from CMA Impact Inc., effective September 2, 2025. With this integration, JPN becomes CSP’s 23rd title and its first journal dedicated to psychiatry and neuroscience.

JPN holds an established role as the official journal of the Canadian College of Neuropsychopharmacology and is recognized for publishing influential work in its fields. Under CSP, the journal will continue its independent editorial oversight while benefiting from the publisher’s not-for-profit, researcher-led model.

For CSP, the acquisition expands its disciplinary scope and strengthens opportunities for engagement with communities focused on neuroscience and mental health. For readers, authors, and reviewers, the transition offers continuity of editorial standards and access to the publisher’s established infrastructure for high-quality scholarly communication.

CSP publishes a broad suite of peer-reviewed journals and emphasizes editorial independence, rigorous processes, and wide dissemination of scientific research from global contributors.
