The Charlesworth Group has announced its partnership with KingYee Technology based in Beijing, China. Under this arrangement, Charlesworth will provide scientific editing services to KingYee's users (medical practitioners and authors) as well as a full package of educational services and outreach (including scientific training, blogs, webinars, online interviews and industry news updates). Authors will benefit from discounts on submissions, as well as the support of Charlesworth's expert helpdesk staff based in China.
This collaboration builds on The Charlesworth Group's expanding Editing and Education services provision which supports authors - alongside publishers and institutions through its referral partnerships and loyalty programs - via a full portfolio of scientific editing and submission support initiatives. Charlesworth works with publishers and authors globally, and is particularly well placed to support Chinese academics and organisations as a result of its long-standing presence in Mainland China through its sales and consultancy initiatives in the academic publishing sector.
KingYee's audience of medical practitioners in China will be able to benefit from tailored support for academic journal submissions and guidance through the full process of journal selection, editing and dealing with the peer review process. The first webinar presentation was recently provided in English with Chinese translation by The Charlesworth Group's Caitlin Meadows (Publishing Services Director, UK) and Xiaoying Chu (Publishing Services Director, China).
