Kno ties up with Wiley to add top digital textbook titles for college students -

Education software firm Kno, US, has announced that it has partnered with global publishing company John Wiley & Sons, Inc., US, to add top digital textbook titles for college students. The new partnership with Wiley's Global Education business will reportedly provide Kno with a range of higher education digital content, including top titles from business, engineering, mechanics, organic chemistry, physics and trigonometry.

Kno offers more than 200,000 interactive K-12 and university digital titles from over 65 textbook publishers. Its textbooks are available for the iPad, Android, Web and Windows 7.

Wiley’s collection of leading higher education titles, including Psychology in Action, Principles of Anatomy and Physiology, Contemporary Business and Professional Cooking, will be enhanced with Kno's videos, Flash Cards, Social Sharing, and other interactive features.

Kno is seeking to transform the way both K-12 and higher education students learn by making educational content available on the broadest selection of devices at the lowest possible cost. The company is committed to making learning available and flexible by tailoring it to each student's learning style.

Kno aims to combine the best of a physical textbook along with more than 70 interactive features including a Course Manager to organise textbooks by course, chapter preview to visually navigate pages, and innovative features such as 3D, Smart Links, Journal, Smart Search and Social Sharing. These are engineered to increase students' learning potential and retain the most important information.
