Kudos, a service for maximising the reach and impact of research publications, has partnered with Jisc Collections to provide a standard agreement for all UK universities. The agreement will simplify the procurement process and assure best pricing for UK customers of Kudos for Institutions, a toolkit for increasing the reach and impact of a university's research.
To coincide with the new agreement, Kudos is also introducing new tiered pricing for all its institutional customers around the world, to acknowledge different levels of research intensity and ensure that the widest possible range of universities can access Kudos intelligence to help strengthen their research support services.
The latest university to sign up for Kudos is the London School of Economics and Political Science, which evaluated Kudos for Institutions in its pilot phase before subscribing. By channeling researchers' communications about their work through a central system, and mapping the actions against a range of metrics, Kudos provides institutions with deep, actionable insight into the most effective ways to increase publication impact. Its reports and tools uniquely enable institutions to understand, amplify and support researchers' efforts to improve the performance of their work. The system currently has over 100,000 users across more than 10,000 institutions, and is growing by approximately 1,000 users per week.
