Academic publisher Maney Publishing, UK, has announced that over 100 books in the Legenda imprint, published in partnership with the Modern Humanities Research Association (MHRA), have been included in the newly-launched Book Citation Index of Thomson Reuters.
The Book Citation Index, launched in October 2011, is part of the Web of Knowledge research platform, which covers 25,000 books dating back to 2005 in the sciences, social sciences and humanities. Researchers can search for relevant book content along with 12,000 peer-reviewed journals and 150,000 conference proceedings, enabling users to navigate the links in citations across the various outlets of academic research.
Founded in 1995, as a Humanities imprint, Legenda has published more than 200 monographs, collections and editions. The Legenda collection disseminates important new research on the literature, culture and languages of Europe, Latin American and elsewhere. Series titles include Italian Perspectives, Research Monographs in French Studies, Moving Image, and Studies in Comparative Literature.
