Choice’s LibTech Insights is partnering with the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) to launch a new blog series, AI Tools for Academic Libraries. The series begins in mid-August and will provide practical insights on adopting artificial intelligence in library settings.
Each bimonthly installment will focus on a category of AI tools, such as research assistants, transcription services, or time management optimizers. Posts will include evaluations, highlight potential uses in academic libraries, and offer guidance on integrating these technologies into library workflows.
The series aims to help librarians assess emerging AI products critically and identify tools that can support their professional practice. By making the blog part of LibTech Insights, Choice extends the reach of this resource to academic librarians worldwide who are exploring technology adoption in their institutions.
