Healthcare publisher Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), part of Wolters Kluwer Health, US, has signed an agreement to serve as the publisher of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the official journal of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA). The journal is also the official publication of ASRA's affiliates, the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy, the Asian and Oceanic Society of Regional Anesthesia, and the Latin American Society of Regional Anesthesia.
LWW will begin publishing the journal in 2009 and will include it in the LWW Total Access Collection on Ovid.com, also part of Wolters Kluwer Health. The LWW Total Access Collection features a comprehensive collection of over 260 acclaimed medical information journals.
A bi-monthly publication, Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine publishes original articles, technical and translational reports, review articles and correspondence relevant to practitioners concerned with local anesthetics, regional anesthesia, ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and pain management.
Earlier this month, LWW also signed an agreement to serve as publisher of The European Journal of Anaesthesiology, starting in 2009. The journal is the official publication of the European Society of Anaesthesiology (ESA).
