Healthcare publisher Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), part of Wolters Kluwer Health, US, has announced that it is set to publish the journal - Diseases of the Colon & Rectum - beginning with the January 2009 issue. The journal is the official journal of the American Society of Colon and Rectum Surgeons (ASCRS).
A monthly publication, Diseases of the Colon & Rectum is distributed to more than 2,600 surgeons, specialists, and members of the ASCRS. The journal provides readers with the latest peer-reviewed research on colorectal surgery and treatments, along with related developments in gastroenterology and oncology.
Beginning in 2009, the journal will become part of the LWW Total Access Collection on Ovid (www.Ovid.com), also part of Wolters Kluwer Health. The LWW Total Access Collection is a complete collection of over 260 journals, provided to institutions with intensive medical information needs.
