Healthcare information provider Wolters Kluwer Health (WK Health), US, has announced a publishing partnership with the International Nurses Society on Addictions (IntNSA). IntNSA is a professional specialty organisation that seeks to advance excellence in nursing care for the prevention and treatment of addictions for diverse populations across all practice settings through advocacy, collaboration, education, research and policy development.
Under the deal, Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), part of Wolters Kluwer Health, will publish Journal of Addictions Nursing (JAN), the official journal of IntNSA, beginning with the October 2012 issue.
JAN will join LWW's roster of more than 60 leading general and specialty nursing publications. The quarterly, peer-reviewed journal claims to be the only international nursing journal focusing exclusively on addictions. It presents original research, clinical perspectives, reviews, and commentary related to the field of addictions, primarily from a nursing standpoint.
