The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), an international education and research centre dedicated to the study of infectious diseases, has selected OCLC WorldShare Management Services as its library management system.
WorldShare Management Services (WMS) provide cloud-based library management and discovery applications in an integrated suite, offering librarians a comprehensive and cost-effective way to manage library workflows efficiently, and improve end users' access to library collections and services.
LSTM established its library service in 1920. LSTM cited its expanding global teaching base and demand for electronic resources as key factors influencing their decision to acquire a new library management solution as it seeks to offer users seamless and flexible access to resources across the Web.
More than 250 libraries on three continents—Australia, Europe and North America—are currently using OCLC WorldShare Management Services to gain efficiencies and improve usability in library services and end-user discovery.
