The Scientific business of Thomson Reuters, US, has announced that one of Europe's prestigious University Presses, Liverpool University Press, has chosen Manuscript Central to manage all fifteen of their Humanities and Social Science journals. In addition, the Press will implement Manuscript Central Optima, which integrates Manuscript Central, EndNote and ISI Web of Science into one seamless application.
Liverpool University Press recently expanded their journal list, providing more market share and exposing them to a wider Humanities and Social Science community. Manuscript Central is a web-based, database-driven peer review and online submission program for scholarly publishers and has a wide variety and long list of Humanities and Social Sciences journal titles.
Manuscript Central automates manuscript submission to journals and allows for easy administrative, editing and reviewing capabilities so its customers can focus on content, not on process. With more than 220 societies and publishers, over 1850 books and journals, 60,000 monthly submissions and 5 million registered users, Manuscript Central claims to be an industry leader.
