Academic publisher Maney Publishing has entered into an agreement with Maruzen to act as a non-exclusive sales agent for its MORE (Maney Online Research E-journal) Collections throughout Japan.
The MORE E-journal Collections provide libraries and consortia with the greatest breadth of content for their users in packages highly specific to their areas of interest. In addition, customers will benefit from the migration towards the end of 2013, of all the Maney journal content to Atypon's Literatum online publishing platform. Literatum is widely recognised as an industry leader and will offer customers an enhanced online service from which to access the MORE Collections.
By entering into this partnership with Maruzen, it will allow Maney to disseminate its electronic journal collections to a much wider audience throughout Japan and this, coupled with Maruzen's strong relationships with key universities and consortia in Japan, will help to significantly raise the profile of Maney's MORE Collections and firmly establish Maney as a key player in this growing market.
