Accucoms, a Netherlands-based provider of sales and marketing services to scholarly and society publishers, has announced that it has been selected by academic publisher Maney Publishing, UK, to deliver sales representation services in North America. The exclusive deal will see Accucoms selling electronic journal collections to library customers in the US and Canada and will take immediate effect.
Maney Publishing has a collection of nearly 80 journals in materials science, humanities, and healthcare and is committed to publishing high quality journals in print and electronic formats that are international in scope and peer-reviewed. All the journals are available online and form the MORE (Maney Online Research E-Journal) collections; Healthcare and Biomedicine, History and Humanities, and Materials Science and Engineering, and the specialist sub-sets Archaeology and Heritage and Language and Literature.
Accucoms offers publishers worldwide a sales representation service that includes face-to-face selling, account management, representation at library events, telesales and local language marketing activities.
