Academic publisher Maney Publishing has announced that it will publish Ship Technology Research – Schiffstechnik, on behalf of the University of Duisburg-Essen, from 2015.
Established in 1952 as Schiffstechnik, Ship Technology Research publishes applied research on ships and offshore structures. The journal enables engineers and researchers to learn the latest developments in research, design, manufacture, and the operation and maintenance, of ships and offshore structures.
The journal is edited by Professor Bettar el Moctar (Institute of Ship Technology, Ocean Engineering, and Transport Systems, University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany), Dr Vladimir Shigunov (DNV GL, Germany) and Professor Sören Ehlers (University of Technology Hamburg-Harburg, Germany and Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway).
From 2015, Ship Technology Research – Schiffstechnik will be available on Maney Online, Maney's electronic hosting platform and will have a new online submission and peer review system (Editorial Manager), which will enhance the publishing experience for authors and readers alike.
