Scientific and medical information resources provider McGraw-Hill Professional, US, has announced an agreement with JISC Collections to offer its acclaimed suite of digital learning platforms to its members.
McGraw-Hill Professional is a global provider of education and reference materials, information, and books for the Science, technical, and Medical markets. Its Access-branded digital learning platforms provide subscribed students, doctors, and professionals with instant, up-to-date content from renowned thought-leaders in a variety of fields.
McGraw-Hill Professional's platforms include thousands of images, illustrations, and videos, interactive self-assessment, custom curriculum tools, comprehensive search platforms, and the ability to download content to a mobile device. There are currently 12 platforms with comprehensive collections of content in Medicine, Science, Engineering, Computing, and Business.
The JISC Content Procurement Company, trading as JISC Collections, is a mutual trading company limited by guarantee. Established by the UK Higher and Further Education Funding Bodies, to support the procurement of digital content for education and research in the UK, JISC Collections is a membership organisation. Its members consist of UK further education institutions, higher education institutions and research councils.
