STM Publisher Elsevier, Netherlands, has announced that the Medical University of South Carolina Health System (MUSC) has selected its CPM CarePoints interdisciplinary care planning and clinical documentation solution for its electronic health record (EHR).
MUSC is stated to be one of the nation's top academic health science centres, with a 750-bed medical centre (MUSC Health) and six colleges that train more than 3,000 healthcare professionals per year, virtually all of whom will now have direct access to Elsevier's CPM content solutions. CPM CarePoints will be delivered through seamless integration with MUSC's Epic EHR and will support the hospital's improvements in patient outcomes and transformation of its clinical practice.
CPM CarePoints seeks to provide an all-inclusive framework for implementing actionable, evidence-based care and documentation tools across all clinical domains. Designed to offer the latest scientific and clinical guidance on a wide range of diagnoses, CPM CarePoints can be utilised and referenced by all clinicians within a hospital setting for practice-specific, expert guidance, as well as provide the tools they need to document and monitor that care.
