The Mineralogical Society of Great Britain and Ireland has selected De Gruyter as its partner for distributing its premiere journal publications, Mineralogical Magazine and Clay Minerals, starting in January 2016. Both journals present peer-reviewed original research, are highly respected in the field, and have impressive impact factors.
According to Kevin Murphy, the Society's Executive Director, this partnership will provide increased visibility for the Mineralogical Society's content around the globe from De Gruyter's well-known journals platform, and help to make them available to an audience which is wider than the traditionally purely mineralogical subscriber base.
The publications will continue to be produced and be available from the society both on the web and in print, and will now also be available electronically from De Gruyter's platform, www.degruyter.com.
