Ministry of Public Health of Qatar launches first National Clinical Guidelines and Pathways using Hearst Health solutions -

The Ministry of Public Health of Qatar (MOPH) has published their first set of National Clinical Guidelines and Pathways which were developed in partnership with Hearst Health International. The project addresses key areas of healthcare quality in Qatar with the aim of reducing unwarranted variation and improving both outcomes and efficiencies within the healthcare system.

The MOPH selected Hearst Health's Map of Medicine and MCG Care Guidelines solutions as their source of international evidence for this extensive project, which has seen the Hearst Health Middle East team working in partnership with experts from across Qatar.

60 workshops involving 130 clinicians from all sectors of the healthcare system have been held over the last 12 months and have enabled the development of 30 National Guidelines and corresponding Map of Medicine pathways of care. While National Guidelines have been published to the MOPH website in PDF format, the Map of Medicine pathways are now accessible within Qatar, to all providers and the public on an open-access basis, provided by Hearst Health.

The new guidelines and pathways are accessible to all clinicians in Qatar through the MoPH website at www.moph.gov.qa/national-clinical-guidelines.
