The National Research Council (Cnr) becomes the first institution in Latin Europe to adopt the Panorama™ platform from EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO). As the first implementation of Panorama in Latin Europe, Cnr will serve as an example for libraries in the territory that want to obtain more specific data on their resources.
Cnr, which will celebrate the centenary of its founding in 2023, is the country's leading public research organization, with nearly 300 branches throughout Italy. The G. Marconi Central Library (Guglielmo Marconi) coordinates a network of nearly 90 libraries between Cnr Institutes and Areas, manages contracts for access to journals, publications and databases for its entire scientific community and provides a range of services for libraries and of broader interest such as ISSN.
