Scientific publisher Nature Publishing Group (NPG) and Biblioteca do Conhecimento Online (b-on) have signed a three-year agreement to provide 69 institutions in Portugal with site license access to Nature.
More than 300,000 researchers and students in Portugal will now gain access to research and news published in Nature. Higher education institutions, research institutes, and hospitals throughout the country are participating in the agreement.
b-on (Online Knowledge Library) facilitates access for research and higher education libraries in Portugal to over 16,750 scientific international publications from 16 publishers, through subscriptions negotiated on a national basis.
