Nature Research has announced a new partnership designed to improve the international impact of Roshydomet's scientists and journals.
Publisher of the world leading journal Nature, Nature Research will be conducting training for Roshydromet's researchers designed at improving their ability to publish in international journals and communicate their research effectively. In addition to in-person workshops run by Nature Research journal editors the training will be delivered online through the Nature Masterclass Online platform, as well as specially targeted webinars focussed on the research areas of strength for Russia's leading geoscience research organisation. Roshyrdomet's journals will also receive a boost through training for their editors that focuses on improving their processes and visibility to ensure they reach the highest standards of publishing best practice.
Improving the international visibility of Roshydromet's climate change and related hydrometeorological research and helping encourage collaborations for its scientists, particularly with the UK, is another aspect of the partnership. To this end the best research coming out of the organisation and the Roshrydromet scientists will be highlighted through Nature Research communication tools and platforms during the coming year.
