Academic publisher Oxford University Press (OUP) has announced that the first new content from the Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS) journals recently went live following a new contract with the Federation earlier this year.
FEMS is a growing organisation with currently 52 member societies from 36 European countries, bringing together around thirty thousand professional microbiologists. It facilitates the exchange of scientific knowledge globally through the publication of their five respected journals, popular biennial Congress and extensive grants programme.
As well as new content being added daily, the journals’ full archive is also available online. In addition, OUP, together with FEMS, have developed a new cross-journal portal where readers can search content, find out more about the journals and editors, and submit their articles or sign up for content alerts. This can be found at http://www.femsjournals.com.
