Cambridge Journals, a division of Cambridge University Press (CUP), US, and the London Mathematical Society have announced new publishing and digital home for the journal Mathematika. Previously self-published by University College London, the journal will now be published on their behalf by the London Mathematical Society.
Mathematika publishes both pure and applied mathematical articles, and has done so continuously since its founding by Harold Davenport in the 1950s. The traditional emphasis has been towards the purer side of mathematics but applied mathematics and articles addressing both aspects are equally welcome.
In addition to this new relationship the journal will also be available electronically for the first time via Cambridge Journals Online (CJO). Starting 2010, both current content and the full archive, dating back to 1954, will be digitised and reproduced as high-resolution, searchable PDFs.
Mathematika will be available twice a year in both print and electronically via Cambridge Journals Online.
