OMICS Group Incorporation, a scientific organisation that drives the progress of research through scholarly open access journals, has announced an agreement with Nikolai Petrovsky Publishing for the acquisition of Immunome Research, an open access, peer reviewed, interdisciplinary journal. The journal joins OMICS Group's list of more than 300 peer-reviewed OA journals.
Immunome Research, indexing in PubMed and many other popular indexing services, came to life in 2005 through BioMed Central, bringing the prime focus in the nascent field of Immunomics, which includes traditional wet lab immunology research approaches with the new sciences of Genomics, Proteomics, and Bioinformatics as well as mathematical modelling. The journal is the official journal of the International Immunomics Society.
According to Dr. Srinubabu Gedela, CEO, OMICS Publishing Group, this acquisition will ensure that the journal continues to promote the findings of contemporary research in the challenging field of Immunomics. An Advisory Editorial Board, consisting of world-class, excellent and experienced professors and researchers in the field of immunomics, has been created. Additionally, an efficient Editorial managing system has been implemented for streamlining the whole process from manuscript submission to online publication for authors.
