Healthcare information provider SLACK Incorporated, US, publisher of Orthopaedics Today Europe, recently announced a partnership with the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT). The affiliation emerged from the organisations' mutual interest in advancing the education of orthopaedic surgeons, making Orthopaedics Today Europe the official newspaper of the organisation.
EFORT is the umbrella organisation linking Europe's national orthopaedic associations. The Federation has 38 national member societies from 36 member countries, as well as four associate scientific members.
Orthopaedics Today Europe is a bimonthly newspaper published by SLACK Incorporated that reaches orthopaedic surgeons throughout Europe. In this new arrangement, the publication will publish news and announcements from the organisation in each issue. Also, Orthopaedics Today Europe will publish a newspaper each day during the upcoming EFORT Congress in Vienna, recapping some of the previous day's most important news and providing a preview of upcoming presentations and special events.
