Overleaf and The Genetics Society of America announce new partnership -

Overleaf (previously WriteLaTeX) has announced a new partnership with The Genetics Society of America (GSA). Through this partnership, authors submitting to GSA's GENETICS and G3: Genes|Genomes|Genetics journals will soon have access to the Overleaf collaborative cloud-based writing and reviewing tool. They will be able to quickly and easily write articles in a customized journal template and collaborate on those articles with colleagues.

Custom GSA journal templates will be available to help authors write and publish their work in the correct journal format. The partnership allows GSA Journal authors to access the Overleaf scientific writing service directly, using links from the GENETICS and G3 manuscript submission sites. Once the author has completed writing and collaborating on a document in Overleaf, they will be able to submit directly to the GENETICS or G3 journals using a link from Overleaf.

Full launch of the templates and submission links will be available in March 2015.
