Overleaf, an innovative provider of scientific writing and publishing tools, has announced a new partnership with The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).
Through this partnership, authors submitting to ASBMB’s Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC) will now have access to a custom JBC authoring template on Overleaf's collaborative cloud-based writing and reviewing tool. Authors will be allowed to submit their manuscripts to the JBC directly from the Overleaf template – simplifying the submission process for JBC authors.
This JBC formatted template includes instructions to authors about each manuscript section, which authors may read and then replace with their original manuscript text. Once authors are finished, they may download their formatted PDFs and submit to the JBC using the submission link in the template.
