Oxford University Press (OUP) and the Society for Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology (SIMB) have announced that OUP will publish The Journal of Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology (JIMB), effective January 2021.
JIMB is an international journal that provides reviews and reports of original research in the field of applied microbiology and biotechnology. JIMB will cover all aspects relating to the study of microorganisms and the industrial application of microbiology. After an international request for proposals (RFP) process, SIMB has selected OUP as the new publisher of JIMB.
The digital capabilities and publishing experience of OUP will lead to an increase in the visibility, influence, and impact of the research being published by JIMB. JIMB looks forward to leveraging OUP resources to serve authors, readers, reviewers, editors, and the SIMB community in an efficient way.
