Academic publisher Oxford University Press (OUP) will be the publishers of the Proceedings of the Aristotelian Society and the Aristotelian Society Supplementary Volume. Proceedings is the official journal of the Aristotelian Society: one of the oldest and most prestigious philosophy societies. The first issue of the Proceedings OUP will publish online in April 2016.
Content in the Proceedings covers all areas of philosophy, including Epistemology, Philosophy of Mind, Metaphysics, Meta-Ethics, and History of Western Philosophy. It focuses on publishing the first rate philosophy articles which are read at the Society's fortnightly meetings in London throughout the academic year. In addition to these commissioned pieces, the journal welcomes submissions of short discussion notes on these papers.
Papers are drawn from an international base of contributors and discuss issues across a broad range of philosophical traditions, including those which are of greatest current interest.
The Aristotelian Society Supplementary Volume is a commission-only journal and is published annually in June. It contains the Symposia to be read at the Annual Joint Session of the Aristotelian Society and the Mind Association.
The print edition of the next Proceedings will be in November 2016. The first Supplement will appear in June.
