PatientPoint® has announced a collaboration with the American Heart Association, the nation's oldest and largest voluntary organisation dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke, to help educate patients and physicians on heart health and stroke prevention at the point of care.
PatientPoint will utilise its network of more than 290,000 healthcare providers to share American Heart Association public service announcements and educational content. By leveraging this content through its digital and mobile solutions in waiting and exam rooms, PatientPoint extends the American Heart Association's mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke.
The collaboration with the American Heart Association comes on the heels of two major announcements from PatientPoint. In October, PatientPoint launched PatientPoint 360°, a new mobile app that allows physicians to access timely medical news as well as provide patients valuable information on their health conditions using cutting-edge medical tools. In November, PatientPoint acquired MedCenterDisplay, a Nashville-based provider of digital signage, mobile apps and digital marketing solutions for hospitals.
