Pearson Partner, CCI to launch programme for workforce training in allied health -

Education services provider Pearson, US, and Condensed Curriculum International (CCI) have announced the launch of HealthEd Today, a new programme designed to increase access to workforce training in allied health. HealthEd Today technician programmes include careers in pharmacy, phlebotomy, EKG, billing and coding and medical administrative assistant. The programme is offered fully online via the Pearson LearningStudio platform.

CCI is stated to provide innovative allied health education and training programme solutions to more than 15,000 students at colleges, universities and medical centres nationwide. HealthEd Today, the first online programme to be offered by CCI, was created to reach more students in response to the growing demand for certified health professionals by hospitals, long term care facilities and other healthcare organisations.

Pearson currently provides custom textbooks for CCI programmes, and will provide both customised curriculum and textbooks for the HealthEd Today programme.
