Pearson to acquire eDynamic Learning to expand early career and workforce readiness offerings -

Pearson has announced an agreement to acquire eDynamic Holdings LP (eDynamic Learning), a digital curriculum provider focused on career and technical education (CTE). The acquisition aligns with Pearson’s strategy to expand its presence in early career education and workforce preparedness solutions.

eDynamic Learning currently serves over 885,000 K–12 students through partnerships with more than 9,000 schools and higher education institutions. Its portfolio includes 325 digital courses spanning over 40 career pathways. The company also provides virtual career simulations, teaching services, and workforce training for both secondary and adult learners.

The acquisition is expected to enhance Pearson’s capabilities in delivering structured digital curricula aimed at preparing learners for career entry. Completion of the transaction is anticipated in the second half of 2025, subject to standard closing conditions, including regulatory review. Pearson plans to fund the acquisition using existing cash and liquidity resources.

According to the company, the addition of eDynamic Learning will support its broader aim to provide scalable, career-aligned learning pathways. The acquisition is positioned within the context of increasing demand for career-ready workers and rapid technological change that is reshaping skill requirements across industries.
