STM publisher Elsevier, Netherlands, and Hanser Publishers, the premier publisher of plastics technology and applied materials titles, have announced that the companies will offer plastics researchers and engineers a new plastics e-book collection on ScienceDirect.
Plastics Engineering from Hanser on ScienceDirect includes more than 55 titles from leading authors, such as Dr. Robert A. Malloy, a member of the Plastics Academy's Hall of Fame. Other key titles cover plastics design principles, adhesives, rubbers, polymers, and extrusion. The addition of Hanser content with the benefits of full-text, online access on ScienceDirect delivers improved workflow data and best practice information to people in research and development in the field of engineering design and manufacturing.
The Hanser collection complements the engineering books from Elsevier's William Andrew and Butterworth-Heinemann imprints, as well as chemistry and materials science books collections already available on ScienceDirect. Hanser titles now available in the collection on ScienceDirect include Material Science of Polymers for Engineers, 3rd Edition; Mixing of Rubber Compounds; and Engineering with Rubber, 3rd Edition. All 55 Hanser titles can be purchased as a collection on ScienceDirect.
