ProQuest and TÜBİTAK ULAKBIM, The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, have announced a partnership to provide researchers at higher education institutions in Turkey with access to full-text dissertations and theses from around the globe.
The first national deal to be signed between ProQuest and TÜBİTAK ULAKBIM, this agreement gives faculty and students in about 200 universities unlimited access to the ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global™ database (PQDT). Originally created in 1939, PQDT archives and improves the discovery of graduate works from research universities around the world. PQDT is the largest and most authoritative database of theses and dissertations in the world, featuring 4.5 million dissertations (2.1 million in full text).
This deal supports TÜBİTAK ULAKBIM's vision to guide and contribute to critical science and technology research across Turkey. Providing the Turkish academic community with access to PQDT opens a wealth of resources that will improve sustainable development, and contribution to discoveries around the globe.
