Content solutions provider Publishing Technology plc has joined Annotating All Knowledge, a coalition formed to improve the quality of information available online.
Bringing together some of the world's key scholarly publishers, academic institutions, researchers and individuals alongside technology developers and platform providers, Annotating All Knowledge was formed to foster greater collaboration among peers of online research and review. The coalition's goal is to create an open platform for free, available content with a built-in layer of technology for open annotation that will enable discussion, commenting and organisation of content to better serve the research and scholarly community and the greater world around it.
As one of the leading software providers to the publishing industry and with access to over 10 million articles and 11,000 publications provided on its content platforms, Publishing Technology is committed to supporting the coalition and helping its publishers participate in the initiative.
