Publishing Technology renews hosting collaboration with ASM -

The American Society for Microbiology (ASM) has signed an extension to its online hosting contract with Publishing Technology, which will see the organisation solidify its long term commitment to its digital platform ASMscience and continue its development plan for the future.

The custom built website, which houses a vast and varying collection of microbiology research available online, has been steadily attracting traffic growth and usage since it was launched in 2013.

The site now hosts over 250 book titles, its monthly membership magazine Microbe, an education-based journal JMBE, new journals EcoSal Plus and Microbiology Spectrum, and a growing selection of supplementary research content. In addition to enabling ASM to sell, promote and renew membership among its international community, ASMscience has become a vital resource to membership of ASM and the microbiology community.

The future of the site sees continued growth through the migration of further content including a large photo library, expanded educational resources, and an international magazine titled Cultures. On the presentation side, ASMscience has begun the transition to a fully responsive design, which will make the mobile and tablet experience seamless to the user.
