Medical and scientific publisher Thieme has expanded its medical knowledge database eRef by the Radiology program of Breitenseher Publisher. As a result, specialist literature in radiology and related subjects are now available to the entire Breitenseher publisher's specialist knowledge in the treatment process.
The eRef Radiology license package contains the relevant specialist books and trade journals from Georg Thieme Verlag as well as an extensive media centre with illustrations, videos and podcasts. In addition, Breitenseher Publishers' highly specialised specialist literature can now be licensed in a separate package. This includes, among others, the trilogy created in cooperation with the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR): 'MRI of the Hip', 'MRI of the Knee' and 'MRI Foot & Ankle' and the standard 'Prostate - Multimodal Imaging' other titles.
The contents are sorted by eRef thematically according to diagnoses and medical circumstances and are summarised in so-called 'cockpits'. The knowledge about the subject of radiology is divided into about 1,800 cockpits. For example, the user can find the relevant information, for example on Crohn's disease, at the click of a mouse - from anatomy, diagnostics, normal findings and differential diagnoses, CT, MRI, conventional X-ray, PET and nuclear medicine to guidelines and reconnaissance bows.
The eRef is available to clinics, medical practitioners and health care institutions as required, in full or on specific areas of expertise.
Employees who work in a clinic that has licensed the eRef can create their personal account and have access to the eRef app at any time from any terminal.
