The Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS), a professional membership association and registered charity devoted to advancing the highest standards of surgical care, has announced an expanded strategic partnership with Eduserv. RCS is the latest publisher to join the OpenAthens access management federation to provide its members with single sign-on access to their collection of journals.
The OpenAthens access management federation provides single sign-on authentication for subscription-based content. It represents a straightforward way for publishers to provide access to subscribers, and for institutions to implement SAML-based access to resources: a flexible and secure approach that plays a central part in today's research workflows.
This expanded partnership means that RCS members across the UK have single sign-on access to the RCS' full suite of journal content, making it easier to stay up to date with both research and practice.
