RedLink, RedLink Network, and INASP have announced the initial steps of a developing partnership designed to help make usage tools and credentials management available for INASP members. As a first step, the Zimbabwe University Librarians Consortium (ZULC) will be joining RedLink Network and adopting RedLink's Library Dashboard. The partnership is designed to provide access to these services to the full membership of INASP libraries.
RedLink Network, a public benefit company offering a community-driven IP registry service, provides libraries and publishers a free, easier and more secure way to communicate access credentials, saving time and ensuring readers have uninterrupted access to subscribed content.
Library Dashboard provides a complete, normalized overview of usage and turn-away statistics to help with collection decision-making, and offers easy to use data integration, analysis, and visualization tools. The Dashboard is a subscription product, and RedLink has partnered with INASP to ensure that it is affordable for their member institutions.
Since it was founded 25 years ago, INASP has worked to strengthen access to, production and use of knowledge and evidence in Africa, Asia and Latin America, working in over 25 countries. INASP has worked with ZULC since its formation in 2001 and is now in the final stages of handing over the sustainable access to ZULC.
Members of RedLink, ZULC and INASP will be at the UKSG conference in Harrogate, UK from April 10-12 and available to answer questions.
