Building information modeling (BIM) solutions provider Reed Construction Data, US, has announced a partnership with TME, Inc., an energy engineering firm. The deal will provide the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) community access to thousands of Revit MEP families through the SmartBIM distribution network, including Reed's SmartBIM Library.
The combination of MEP content from TME and the SmartBIM Objects from Reed Construction Data is expected to create a comprehensive library of high-quality Revit BIM objects. BIM content created by Reed Construction Data and TME, Inc. is designed to meet the highest quality standards in the industry and represents the real-world characteristics of the objects. Reed delivers BIM content to the market through SmartBIM Library, SmartBIM Spaces, and SmartBuilding Index.
SmartBIM products shipping with the latest MEP content is expected to be available this summer.
