eTextbook Aggregator Reference Tree, UK, has announced a partnership with the University of Liverpool Library to make textbooks available by chapter to University of Liverpool students.
In the first arrangement of its kind, the University of Liverpool Library will promote Reference Tree to the University's over 27,000 student population as an alternative solution to existing book shops and other online retail outlets for students to purchase their course textbooks.
The collaboration was instigated to provide an additional source of textbook content alongside the extensive holdings offered to students through the library. University of Liverpool Students will be able to determine the availability of books on the University of Liverpool Library Catalogue via the Reference Tree site, enabling them to obtain the content they need via Reference Tree or the Library.
The company is looking for collaborations with other Universities, and are actively reaching out to Universities across the UK.
