Republic of Ireland continues to benefit from BMJ Best Practice for third year running -

Health Library Ireland (HLI) has extended its national subscription to BMJ Best Practice for the third year running, providing clinical and patient education information to everyone in the Republic of Ireland, including Health Service Executive (HSE) healthcare professionals.

BMJ Best Practice is a tool that offers fast and easy access to the latest evidence-based research, guidelines, and expert opinions to help healthcare professionals make accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions. It is updated daily, providing step-by-step guidance on diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and prevention.

The comorbidities manager within BMJ Best Practice also helps healthcare professionals manage the whole patient by providing guidance on treating a patient's acute condition alongside their pre-existing comorbidities.

HLI aims to provide practical clinical support tools to help healthcare professionals meet the changing and complex needs of patients and maximize their resources. This will result in better care and improved outcomes for patients.

With over 1.5 million BMJ Best Practice page impressions (web and app) in 2022, this partnership is expected to bring even more success and have a greater positive impact on patient care in Ireland.
