ResearchGate and AccScience Publishing launch Journal Home partnership to expand reach of open access journals -

ResearchGate, a professional network serving over 25 million researchers, and AccScience Publishing (ASP), a Singapore-based publisher of scientific journals and books, have established a Journal Home partnership aimed at broadening the global visibility and readership of ASP’s publications.

The partnership, announced in April 2025, initially includes five fully open access journals in the fields of engineering and medicine. Through this agreement, ASP seeks to increase exposure for its journal portfolio among ResearchGate’s global membership, with a particular focus on expanding reach in European and North American academic communities.

Under the Journal Home model, participating ASP journals will receive enhanced integration into the ResearchGate platform. This includes:

  • Full version-of-record integration, ensuring ASP content becomes more discoverable to the global research community.
  • Dedicated journal profile pages, displaying key metadata and journal branding alongside individual article pages to increase visibility.
  • Ongoing author engagement, enabling ASP to strengthen researcher relationships, attract submissions, and build author loyalty through insights into audience behavior and research lifecycle interaction.
  • Enhanced author experience, with automatic article uploads to author profiles, engagement metrics, and opportunities for direct communication with readers.

The partnership supports ASP’s objective to reduce barriers to scientific communication by facilitating access and visibility. The collaboration is expected to assist ASP journals in reaching new audiences of both readers and prospective contributors across international regions.
