ResearchGate and De Gruyter Brill expand partnership to boost journal visibility and open access opportunities -

ResearchGate and De Gruyter Brill have announced an expansion of their partnership to include 60 journals, building on their successful content syndication agreement from January 2023. This expanded collaboration introduces advanced visibility features and a groundbreaking Open Access Agreement Upgrade (OAAU) to enhance journal impact and researcher engagement.

The new partnership will offer De Gruyter Brill’s journals improved visibility with dedicated journal profile pages, highlighting key content and boosting brand recognition. Articles will automatically be added to authors' profile pages, providing insights into readership and citations. Researchers will also benefit from full content syndication, which includes access to subscription-based content for entitled users, ensuring greater reach within ResearchGate’s global community of over 25 million members.

A key addition to this partnership is the activation of the Open Access Agreement Upgrade, which addresses the challenge of connecting researchers with available Open Access funding. Through the OAAU, De Gruyter Brill gains insights into eligible researchers and can directly communicate funding opportunities, ensuring targeted outreach to relevant members. This initiative will also allow for detailed reporting on engagement and the effectiveness of communication throughout the publishing journey.

This expanded partnership aims to enhance the visibility of De Gruyter Brill's journals, support authors with greater exposure and insights, and streamline the process of accessing Open Access funding, ultimately fostering increased research dissemination and collaboration.
