ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers, and MDPI, the world's largest open-access publisher, have announced a strategic partnership to enhance the visibility of ten MDPI open access journals through ResearchGate's innovative Journal Home offering.
This collaboration aims to extend the reach and exposure of MDPI's flagship journals to ResearchGate's expansive community, comprising more than 25 million researchers worldwide.
Approximately 210,000 version-of-record articles from the ten participating titles will be readily accessible on ResearchGate, encompassing the complete archive material and all upcoming articles upon publication. The partnered journals will benefit from an augmented brand presence, featuring dedicated journal profiles, prominent representation on associated article pages, and visibility across relevant touchpoints throughout the ResearchGate network. This strategic positioning ensures the journals remain at the forefront of the minds of their reader and author audiences. Furthermore, all articles covered by this partnership will be automatically incorporated into the authors' publication records on ResearchGate, streamlining management for MDPI authors and providing valuable insights into the impact of their work, including data on readership and citations.
This collaboration reflects the commitment of both ResearchGate and MDPI to fostering open research, facilitating global collaboration, and providing researchers with efficient access to high-quality, peer-reviewed content. As ResearchGate's Journal Home initiative continues to evolve, it is poised to contribute significantly to the visibility and impact of open-access publications in the academic community.
