ResearchGate, a professional network for researchers, and Premier Science, an independent open access publisher, have expanded their Journal Home partnership to include Premier Science's entire portfolio of 21 journals. The expanded agreement extends the existing arrangement, which previously covered seven journals.
Launched in 2024, Premier Science publishes journals across multiple scientific disciplines, serving students, early-career researchers, established scientists, physicians, and research managers. The publisher focuses on scientific discovery, communication, and innovation through its publishing operations. It also uses an artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled eWorkflow system that integrates manuscript submission and production processes.
Under the expanded partnership, ResearchGate will provide access to both newly published and previously published content from all 21 Premier Science journals through its global research community of more than 25 million researchers. The arrangement is intended to increase the visibility and discoverability of Premier Science publications and provide opportunities to reach additional readers and potential authors across different disciplines.
The partnership will provide several services for the participating journals, including broader exposure to researchers beyond their existing audiences and access to full-text articles from both current and backlist publications. Published articles will also be automatically uploaded to authors' ResearchGate profiles, allowing them to showcase their research and monitor engagement through readership, sharing, and citation activity.
In addition, each journal will have a dedicated Journal Profile, while journal branding will be displayed on publication pages to improve visibility among relevant international research audiences.
