ResearchGate and SAE International expand Journal Home partnership across engineering journal portfolio -

ResearchGate and SAE International have announced a new Journal Home partnership covering SAE International’s full portfolio of 11 journals spanning engineering and mobility research. The agreement extends the availability of SAE journals to ResearchGate’s global community of more than 25 million researchers.

Founded in 1905, SAE International is a publisher of engineering standards, mobility research, and technical scholarship. Through the Journal Home partnership, SAE’s journals, including open access content within hybrid titles, will be made available directly on ResearchGate, where researchers discover and engage with related scholarly publications.

The partnership is intended to support increased article visibility, readership, and engagement across SAE’s journal portfolio. Content will be surfaced within relevant research contexts on ResearchGate, enabling greater usage and interaction throughout the research lifecycle. The collaboration also supports author experience through automatic article uploads to researcher profiles, engagement indicators, and clearer pathways for reader interaction.

In addition to readership growth, the Journal Home model is designed to strengthen journal branding through dedicated journal profiles and prominent placement within the ResearchGate platform. These features are intended to support audience development and sustained engagement with engineering research communities.

The partnership aligns with SAE International’s mission to advance mobility knowledge and engineering solutions by connecting research outputs with practitioners and researchers worldwide. For ResearchGate, the agreement expands access to peer-reviewed engineering content while supporting discovery and citation within its research network.
