Science and Research Content

ResearchGate and Sage forge new partnership -

ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers, and Sage, a global academic publisher, have announced a partnership that will bring 47,000 articles from 48 of Sage's open access journals directly to ResearchGate.

Through this collaboration, authors of these articles will have their content automatically syndicated to their publication pages on ResearchGate. This integration will provide authors with valuable statistics on the impact of their work and enable them to connect with their readers. The agreement covers all frontlist and backlist content from the included journals. The partnership is driven by Sage's commitment as a long-standing advocate of open science and ResearchGate's mission to make science accessible to all.

As part of the partnership, a selection of Sage journals will benefit from an enhanced presence on ResearchGate's new Journal Home offering. Dedicated journal profiles will be created and made accessible on the network, and each journal will be prominently featured on its associated article pages on ResearchGate. This integration aims to increase the visibility of the journals among their relevant audience, enabling researchers to learn more about the scope, metrics, and publishing policies of each journal. Ultimately, it will drive journal readership, awareness, and consideration among the relevant scientific community.

This collaboration between ResearchGate and Sage represents a significant step towards making valuable research more accessible and fostering greater engagement between authors and their audiences.
