ResearchGate and SLACK Journals extend Journal Home partnership -

ResearchGate and SLACK Journals, part of the Wyanoke Group, have announced the expansion of their Journal Home partnership to include SLACK’s full portfolio of proprietary journals. The decision follows a strong first year of collaboration, during which participating titles recorded notable increases in usage for both subscription and open access content.

The expanded agreement is expected to extend visibility and engagement for SLACK’s journals across ResearchGate’s network of more than 25 million researchers. Journals included in the partnership will benefit from:

• Growth in authorship, with stronger connections to clinicians and researchers across the research lifecycle.

• Consistent increases in readership, supported by seamless delivery of full‑text content to relevant medical and healthcare communities.

• Enhanced visibility and positioning through dedicated Journal Profiles and a prominent presence on the ResearchGate platform.

• Improved author services, including automatic article sharing, performance insights, and new networking opportunities.

SLACK Journals indicated that the initial collaboration exceeded expectations, noting that analytics provided through Journal Home created opportunities to reach new readers, authors, and subscribers. Based on these results, the publisher decided to expand participation to all proprietary journals.

ResearchGate stated that SLACK’s first‑year performance demonstrated the value of connecting researchers with content most relevant to them. The company emphasized its commitment to supporting SLACK’s portfolio and strengthening links between authors, their work, and the communities they serve.
