ResearchGate and SPIE expand Journal Home partnership to cover full open access portfolio -

ResearchGate and SPIE have announced a Journal Home partnership that will include all of SPIE’s open access journals. The agreement is intended to increase visibility, readership, and author engagement across SPIE’s open access (OA) portfolio.

The partnership enables seamless sharing of full-text articles on ResearchGate, automatic uploads to author profiles, and access to usage metrics and reader engagement tools. Additional visibility is supported through personalized content feeds, targeted notifications, dedicated journal profiles, and prominent branding across associated article pages.

SPIE journals participating in the partnership will be accessible to ResearchGate’s global network of more than 25 million registered researchers. Journal Home integration enables full-text article sharing on the ResearchGate platform and supports automatic article uploads to author profiles, along with usage metrics and tools for reader interaction.

Additional features associated with the partnership include enhanced discoverability through personalized content feeds, targeted notifications, dedicated journal profiles, and prominent branding across associated article pages. ResearchGate stated that these capabilities are designed to support author engagement throughout the research and publication lifecycle.
